    Upgrading my PC what do people thing of this.

    I am thinking of upgrading my PC i am thinking of getting

    CPU = Athlon 64 3700+
    FSU = Arctic Cooling Freezer 64 Pro CPU Cooler
    Motherboard = Elite KV2 Lite SKT-939

    I have got an AGP Geforce 6800 GT so i dnt feel the need to upgrade the graphics card.
    Thats why i want to buy a cheap AGP socket 939 motherboard. any ideas of a Motherboard i found this one on the net for £45. When i want to upgrade my Graphics i shall get PCI-e motherboard, so i dnt want to spend much at the moment.

    Thanks all

    Herb

    Lots of people are having big success with the Asrock dual board. If you know what youre doing as far as overclocking goes an opteron is also better bang/buck, but oherwise i think youll be pleased Definately go back to just 2 sticks of ram rather than the 3 you have at the moment though, that or upgrade to 2 gigs

    The 3700+ is a good cpu, it can overclock well. Ive currently got mine at 2.4Ghz which is 4000+ levels and its currently running around 40 degrees on stock cooling, which seems good to me. im getting a Zalman CNPS9500 in a few weeks which should help, and plus I think I need to learn a bit more about it all.

    I was looking at the Arctic Cooling Freezer 64 Pro CPU Cooler too, though I did hear it can be quite loud.

    The Arctic Cooling unit's are very quiet! Compared with my TT Big Typhoon anyway... I find it frustrating though that AC give all their Noise figures in sones, whereas everyone else on this planet uses dB(A),,,, that must be a marketing trick

    try www.coolestpc.co.uk they have good pricing on the Arctic Gear and low delivery costs too.

    Big Typhoon loud? - got mine on 100% 24/7 and can't hear a thing; maybe the bearing have gone in one you heard.

    Big Typhoon or Thermalrights - win everytime.
