    PRICE CHECK P4 Remnants

    Hi all,

    Having just overhauled the old PC; i have now got the following bits spare; not alot but for a cheap server or something i am sure it would do fine.

    Pretty much silent.

    It is an old Fujitsu Siemens PC

    It comes with 512Mb of PC133 RAM
    1.8Ghz P4 Processor
    Fujitsu Mainboard/Mobo
    56K Modem
    Oh and case (beige - but could be ideal for modding project!)
    I have a spare Liteon CDRW i could add in as well...

    I think thats about it as i salvaged the parts for my new build (gfx card/hdd/cd and floppy etc)

    Just wondering how much i should let it go for...

    PS I could sell it with the XP Home licence and bootable (original cd) - all the drivers etc are around somewhere...

    Bumpage, i cant keep this around the house so i have to sell it. i just want to know a reasonable price to put to it!

    Yea, you really wouldn't get much from an antiquated P4 shell. If it was in one piece you coulda stuck it in the buy and sell for a £100 or more and hope some computer newbie picks it up.

    Wow i actually sold it, at more than i expected!

    Went for £65 + £12 postage! Now all i need to do is package it up ready to be sent!

    I originally put it on for £80 but i thought that would be a bit harsh! The whole auction though was perfectly clear and 100% honest!

    It went pretty quickly too; i had only listed it today! And i was actually considering accepting the offer of £45!
