Asus A8N SLi Premium wont shut down

I bought this board from the members market on OCUK and it arrived yesterday. I got it installed today and it is all working fine except the board refuses to power off or restart the PC. The only way i can do it is to push the reset or hold the power button. It was even doing the same during the windows installation. I am using the Nforce 6.7 drivers and I have updated the boards bios to 1009 but it did not help. Can anyone offer any advice?

Have you tried Resetting the Cmos? Cables on the right way etc etc.

tried all the simple stuff mate but thanks I got it working in the end by using the silicone image sata instead of the Nvidia
