Windows like to take like 2 mins on the windows loading bar when booting, sometimes freezing and causing me to restart again and wait........ I have done a format, but recently i did find a backdoor trojan which AVG deleted.
Could this be a hardrive problem?
If so il go buy a spinpoint right now

Get Hiren BootCD and run a disk check.

why not do a fresh windows install, and thats one less thing to rule out, and could possibly save you some money
