Overclocking a A8N32sli

Does anyone have a link for an overclocking guide to the A8N32sli.

I've found the CPU FSB frequency setting, I'm lost on setting the memory.
When it posts it says the memory is 333, FSB is currently 225 does this mean the memory is at ~374 i.e. 333*(225/200) or is it run at 333. I've shatted my windows cd (size 10 boot ) so I have no o/s until tomorrow - so I cannot run any handy utilities yet.

The last m/b understood as my A7V133 - I'm currently a fish out of water with this beast any pointers or help (I tried googling, I could not find any think specific to the A8N32sli)

the memory is Corsair TWINX2048-3200C2PT and the CPU is an Opteron 165 if anyone has any advice/tips

I assume you're running 9x225, that means 2025Mhz

Therefore your ram will run at 2025/11 (Closest to DDR333), which means DDR368

This is common to A64/Opteron boards

Thanks for the info, I'm sure is is clear why the ram should run at DDR368 to you, currently it's not clear to me.
I know the FSB (and CPU multiplier), HTT multiplier and the memory divider are used, but the last 2 I cannot see in the BIOS for my M/B

I'd be greatful for any pointers.

Because MOST people only know about DDR333, DDR400, PC2700, PC3200 and stuff, they wouldn't care about CPU divider and stuff, so all board manufactures use the 266/333/400 for mem speed. If you're not overclocking (still assume Opteron), setting to 333 will give you DDR327, which is pretty close to DDR333. And no one is having problem with Mem Clock Index values

CPU Freq = HTT * Multiplier
Ram Freq = CPU Freq / Divider
HTT does not directly control the ram frequency. Unless you're running 1:1 which the Multiplier and Divider will be the same.
