Additional Hard drives causing BSOD....

Seems that I get the above BSOD since adding some additional hard drives to my system.

The main (and possibly only, need to test some more) is a 200GB IDE Maxtor in a caddy. I have used it a lot and not upgraded any software on the machine for a while. I have also added 2 SATA drives (both 120GB WDs), 1 as a permenant swap file/temp folder drive and the other is in a caddy. Both caddied drives are only used to store AV files (HD movies).

If I access these drives I start to run the risk of a BSOD, although the drives seem fine (the 120GB WDs were janked from my RAID a number of weeks ago and were working perfectly in there, the 200GB Maxtor is pretty much new)

Any ideas

hi mate,

i had the same problem when using an ide as main and sata as storage on my nf4 board, and an update of the chipset drivers sorted it for me.
