yeah is perfectly normal u should hear the raptorsor the scsi hdds in me server they sound like washing machines

for me the clicks are always there - it's when they get louder that you need to start to worry. One of my disks has just started doing this, now waiting for the S.M.A.R.T test to fail in the next few months before it decides to die ;/
