    SN95G5 + RAID and 6800GT AGP

    Hi all.

Will this work, and does it look like a good move? I am keeping my AGP card on this upgrade

    SN95G5
    AMD 64 X2 4200+
    2 x 160 Hitachi SATA (RAID0)
    2GB (2x1GB) Corsair Value Select PC3200 (400)

as appose to a midi tower with a AsRock DualSATA2 mobo.

    Thanks.

Running on my SN95G5 in a Hoojum Cubit 5 case

    X2 3800 running @ 2.6 Ghz with 1.42 v
    2*512 Corsair 4000 Pros running @ 260 Mhz with 2.5,3,3,7
2* WD 320 Gb Hard Disks in RAID 0
    ATI X800XT
    Slim DVD-RW
    7 In 1 Card Reader

With all these parts the system still works like a dream To this day it still surprises me that Shuttle's 240W PSU can handle it all and its board overclocks like a good overclocker ATX board.

The only thing is that you will not have the opportunity to upgrade to a PCI-X graphics card in the future like you can with the Asrock Mobo.

    Thanks for the info.

The AsRock mobo is only ~£50 so i'm not going to loose out on too much if I want to upgrade later to SLI, so think I might go with that.

    Thanks again dude.

    Paul.
