    Custom PC magazine..... It is all about building and cunstopm PC components, overclocking, etc and they have doen several guides.... also MicroMart did a series of practical guides recently..

    looks like the £20 version @ amazon is not the dvd vesion as there is another one for £30 which mentions a dvd.

    However PC world have it for £23, but its £25 for free delivery, however i could really do with a home networking book as i havnt really got a clue (one that covers firewalls too!)

    What one of those is best, and hopefully that pc world sell it!

    seriously get "Building The Ultimate Custom PC" by "ExtremeTech"
    Its around £13 and is on amazon.co.uk
    I have it...and it really is the most comprehensive book! I had a few but this is by far the best! very much reccomended.
    Magazines are good, custompc

    am looking into getting custompc mag, think it's only sold in the bigger magazine/book stores. also will have a look at the book mentioned. many thanks guys.

    It is available in WH Smiths - check out CPC web site - www.custompc.co.uk you can get e free subscription for 3 months... my guess is you will stay subscribed (you get it a week b4 it hits the shops...)

    custompc is worth every penny

    Oh and btw i realised that the book i was looking about was the old version, but i have now ordered the new version released a couple of weeks ago for £35
