    Wavemaster and Asus A8N SLi

Ok, i decided to unplug my ports and whatever from the top of the wavemaster and fit a fan, i also unplugged it all from the board. Im now getting no sound. Whats weird is ive never used the sound prots on the wavemaster and always used the onboard sound from the mobo at the back. (realtek)

Im not quite sure why this would have effected ithe sound even though im not using it...Could anyone shed some light on this?

There should be a return from teh front ports, if thats not there then the back audio wont work when the front audio is plugged in, or even when it isnt, if it isn't jumpered. Check your mobo manual for the pins, unplug the front connector and jumper the relevant pins - sound should work

dave, are u talking about 2 little blue things as shown in this pic top middle

    http://www.overclockers.ru/images/la...09/board-b.jpg

I dont have those, so i mguessing thats why my sound doesnt work, when i unplug the waymaster connectors that go over the same pins the blue things are on???

    YOU THINK?

They are jumpers so yes, as dave (and me over msn) said you need those to make the sound work, they are basically joing two pins together.

But what for all your other problems?
