6 pin FireWire > FireWire header?

Just finished building my new rig, which has a FireWire port on the front of the case, which I naturally want to use. However, my motherboard doesn't have FireWire onboard, so I'll be adding a PCI card. The internal connectors on these cards just seem to be a socket soldered on through, ready to accept a FireWire cable.

Is there a cable in existance which has a 6 pin FireWire cable on one end, and the as-seen-on-motherboards header connector on the other that I can put this on, or failing that, a PCI card where the internal FireWire connector is a header rather than a socket?

edit - sorry, read it wrong.

I had to do something similar.

I ended up buying a couple of usb cables cutting them up then soldering the wires
(which are colour coded and match up) to a male type mobo header which would
go into the type of header you want. I made a thread about it and there were links
to the thing you want in it. I cant remember what it was called but something like
mobo usb header.

Think I may end up following the Funkstar method :)
