to be honest it depends on what your going to use it for imo
if its gonna be your primary drive with your OS on it then i would opt for the raptor - possibly a 150Gb if you have the money for one - £227.94 @scan

if its primarily a storage drive then id be more inclined to go for the cheaper option of maybe 2x300GB in RAID 0
My personal recommendation would be a small Raptor (36 or 74GB) for Windows and then something like a 250GB Samsung Spinpoint or Hitatchi Deskstar for storage.
Raptors don't make a huge difference in terms of games - it's with general Windows use, programs like Photoshop, and system scans (adware, viruses etc.) that they really shine through.
It really depends on what you plan to use the system for?
Thanks its going to be my primary drive with win xp on it and another drive for apps & games
RAPTOR:)
It IS worth puting your favourite games on the Raptor too :) they will load a tad quicker.
But for all your gigs of photos, films etc...use a large cheapo as stated. Spinpoints do seem to get good reviews at the mo :)
