don't worry - ... I got called to help an associate of mine who was building himself a new machine - Geforce 4 in the AGP, and a Voodoo in the PCI slot... never mind that the mobo was set to boot from the pci slot -
but that he'd managed to slave the voodoo to itself, and no connect the monitor.

To think he called me around to take a look at a faulty motherboard! (i.e. everything plugged in, but nothing working!)

I had to make him throw out the voodoo - should've made him whack himself over the head with it first!

Don't be afraid of asking questions - if you're not sure, ask... and remember not to make assumptions about anything!
