since installing 2 x wd360 (10k rpm) my system will only get as far as the XP screen

After it loads the XP screen and before the little green squares pass from left to right along the activity slot, it just shuts down and then reboots in a continual loop. To my dismay, there is no error message to guide me to where my incompetence has prevailed. Do you know what I have forgotten to do?

Same exact thing happened to me after I installed Shuttle's new 300 watt power supply in a Shuttle SN41G2. I had to boot from the Windows XP disk, and reinstall Windows. I'm now back to sort of normal. Window's takes a long time to load, but seems to work ok after it loads.

    I found the problem

The problem was the bios did not recognize a drive that was as new as the one that I have now installed. I had to go to the computer manufactures web site and down load the latest bios driver.
