    My new computer.

Ok, sorry, I started the picture taking a bit late but ah well!

Pic 1, mother board, CPU, PSU and GPU already installed. The motherboard was the easiest I have ever installed, the screws went into the chassis so easily, it was great. Well done to coolermaster for building such a wonderful case.

    Picture 2,

    Picture 3,

Picture 4, GPU, Nvidia 7600, soon to be two of them running in SLi.

Picture 5, This is after the heatsink/fan was installed and it was all wired up, note the fabulously open space inside the case of optimal air flow. Made possible thanks to the awesome Hiper Power modular type R PSU and some handy black cable ties.

    Picture 6,

    Picture 7,

Picture 8, Side on view, I had originally planed on having an 80mm akasa amber fan on the side of the machine but after monitoring the temps (27-32degrees) I decided not to.

And that's my new mahcine! It took pretty much all day (from 10:30) to get right from screwing in the mother board supporting screws to installing SP2 and all the updates/drivers etc etc, but the result is spectacular!

    Here are the full specs.

    CPU:
Athlon 64 3700+ San Diego core

    GPU
    256mb Nvidia 7600 * 2 in SLi

    Mother Board
    Asus AN8 SLI-SE

    Memory
    Corsair Twin X DDR PC3200 (400) Stepped at 2-3-3-6

    Case
    Coolermaster Centurion 532

    PSU
580w Hiper Power Type R Modular in Black

    HDD
    Hitachi Deskstar 160gb Sata II

    Phwoar

Oh I benchmarked it on 3D Mark 01 (hehe) and scored 19600 (give or take a couple).

Hehe, I'll have to try 06 if it will run!

    Cheers mate!

The PSU is a black (it's a bit more like gun metal black) 580w Hiperpower Type R Modula, and the CPU fan is an Artic Freezer Pro.

It's really cool inside, it's all fab

    EDIT: ^What he said

    Thanks .

They cards are just POV 256 mb normal ones. They're only £90 and are by no means wonderous but they are more than adequate for my needs!

ahh.. that point of view heatpipe handle cooler..

The case looks ace.. kudos on the cable management, but you might want to hide them behind the DVD-rom with some cable ties.

Still feel the heatpipe is rather silly.. but I might be totally wrong..
    Me want Ultrabook

Hey don't mock it, I've got the indoor bike lock I've always wanted now! .

the bulk of excess cable is tied to a 5.25 bay just below the DVD-RW. Most of the cables are as tight as I could get them, couldn't really shift them any better but I'm happy with it, it beats my horrendous old machine :stunned:.

    Thanks

    Um, COD2, CS:S, UT2004.

All of which play perfecly nicely at 1280x1024 2xAA 2xAF with med/high settings which is more than fine for me.

Well those only run at 800/400 so probably those two would be equiv to a single 7800 GT maybe. Will happily run any modern games (unless it's a stupid resolution and 8xaa 8xaf).

Two XFX7600XXXs' which run at 1600/590 would probably outperform a 7900gtx on it's own maybe?
