    New PSU?

I'm thinking of upgrading my motherboard, cpu and graphics card soon. Probably going to get a Opty 175, Asus Mobo and X1900XT or XTX, currently got a Hiper Type R 480w PSU, will this be powerful enough to run the system, or will I need to upgrade it? Also running 2 x 160GB SATA drives, and 12v pump for my watercooling. Am thinking about swapping the HDD's for a couple Raptors at a later date.

Thnaks in advance for any advice.

I think you should be ok with the Hiper. Why don't you try it out and then think about upgrading?

Or are you like me - buy first and then realise the old one would have worked fine?

Yeah, I'm probably like you, buy something that I don't need. Think I'll stick with the Hiper I have for now, it'll save me some money in the first instance, and if needed I can get one from Scan with next day delivery so wouldn't be without PC for too long.

    Thanks for the advice.
