S939 Motherboard Advice
Would like to purchase a Socket 939 motherboard and would like some recommendations please.
Don't need SLI.
Can be VIA or Nvidia chipset.
Needs undervolting options.
1. It has to have passive cooling or easy to replace the fan with a passive heatsink. I think the problem in most of the time is the location of the fan means a swap with the Zalman or other heatsink is difficult as the graphics card will interfere?
2. PCI-E as I have a graphics card.
I've had a look at MSI MS-7125 K8N Neo4-F OEM as I know someone who works at lowestonweb. The fan on that may have been already swapped to a passive heatsink.
Budget: £60 max.
Thanks.

ASRock 939 Dual Sata2? I know you don't need the AGP, but it's still a good board.
I think it undervolts no problem - only problem for some is it doesn't overvolt much.

Thanks.
Will put on shortlist but I don't like the location of the ATX connector.
Anyone using one of these with a Neo HE psu?

Most boards only allow undervolt down to 1.1V but not lower (even if there is setting in BIOS)
The only board I know that doesn't have the 1.1V limit is the DFI NF4-D / Ultra-D / SLI-D / SLI-DR
Pretty crap when all my 3000+s can run stock at 1V.

Have the dfi ultra d and although a great board the chipset fan does sit underneath the vid card position so may be difficult having a higher passive heatsink. I think though that most nf4 boards follow this same design.

yeah, i use that board with a neo HE psu, it works/fits fine!
