how to flash bios of non floppy laptop?

I have three files that msi have supplied but there is no program to do it for me and the latop has no floppy. Can I simply put these on a 'bootable' cd and boot up with it or do i have to put dos stuff on the disk too? (The files are called A1029AMS.250, A1029AMS.BAT and AFUDOS.EXE).

    Cheers.

    Matt

You'll need to have it boot you into a DOS based environment (www.bootdisk.com ?), along with these files. Then you just flash as normal

Surely 'Winflash' would be ok to flash the BIOS. Do MSI not include an update utility as with the motherboards?
