    Price Check: X1800XT 512MB PCI-E

Thinking of jumping ship back to Nvidia.. CCC is driving me kinda nuts..

Its a Powercolour variant with all the bits and bobs.. 512MB GDDR3 running at stock ATI speeds

I paid genuine money for this card, so if the price turns out to be rubbish I might consider keeping it..

Erm, why not keep the card and download just the driver and ATI Tools?

You don't have to have the CCC if you don't want it. The X1800 is about the best bang for buck you can get right now.

I'd say around £220 for the 512mb version. Its a good card though, and surely CC doesnt annoy you enough to warrant getting rid of it.

Although if you really are set on giving it the shove, the 7900's are quality, love my 7900gt now.

yea, perhaps you're right.. it IS a very fast card.. I like the stuff and all on CCC, its just the stuff it does to my PC that pisses me off.

Also, the card sometimes get so hot its like a terminal heater.. hope it lives thru summer without killing the poor thing..

£200 is WAY too little... I'll keep it.. and honestly so, I've never had such flexibility with AA and AF.. its like no penalty watsoever.. no AA 100fps.. 4XAA 90fps.. whereas my 7800GT goes like no AA 90fps.. with 4xAA then 50fps..
