Hi atmadden - Yep, I kept the 165 and by the look of things I made the right decision. Unfortunately, my XP-120 isn't able to keep it cool enough for the really high clocks so it's currently at 2.4ghz / 1.3v until I have another play. I'm going to see if the giving the artic silver some time to set in makes a difference, otherwise I might try something with better cooling.

Will try for 2.8Ghz soon - would be nice to squeeze a dual-core that can act like 2xFX-57s.

Hi there....for overclocking ( CnQ enabled ) should be disabled.

yeah, I know but CnQ has not hindered my overclock at all since the latest 406 BIOS for my Lanparty UT SLI-D board, seems to work beautifully - no instability! When I shoot for 2.8Ghz I will of course disable it to begin with and maybe enable it if it works! Best of both worlds!

CnQ will clock your CPU DOWN if it becomes too hot so there's no point at all

2.8GHz should be easy if your on 1.3v - must be a majic chip. Is the 1.3v set in the BIOS? Is it dual prime95 stable?

BTW - I'd take your sig down to what the rules say it should be mate

There are rules on sigs?! *Looks guilty*

And yeah, I'd be very surprised if that was Prime / SP2004 stable...
