    Question A tale of two mobo's

    I have been offered a choice of free mobo's by out by our IT guy. Both Epox.
    8RDA+
    8RGA+

    But which one to choose?

    Am i right in saying the 8RDA+ is one without the onboard graphics while the 8RGA+ has a gf4 mx on board.

    The gf4mx is complete crap! if you have another card and are going to use that may as well get the 8RDA+.

    Doubt there will be much overclocking difference, the 8RGA+ maybe be slightly less stable, becuase of heat through the gf4

    Well it's getting an XP2700+(or XP2400+) hav both at my disposal. Radeon 9800 pro. 2x512 of PC3500 Twinmos Ram
    2 WD 80JB HD's on a Promise raid card.

    May as well go with the 8RDA+ then. As it will prolly cause you less hassles.

    See if you can try and blag a xp2500 Barton out of the IT guy, as it will overclock a bit more, is faster (if it the ghz is the same) and prolly runs cooler.

    Make sure for overclocking that your cooling is good
