Here's what I've got so far:

- Opteron 146
- Arctic Freezer Pro
- Abit KN8 Ultra
- GeCube X1800XL
- 2x 1GB Corsair VS
- 250GB Samsung

That's around £605, any case / PSU / extra advice would be greatly appreciated.

Oh, extra note, we're actually talking around £750 for the system 'cause we need money for our hard work...

Announcing to people that you plan to exploit the free advice they give on this forum to make yourself a quick buck rather than spend some time doing the necessary research yourself, isn't the best way to encourage them to help you....

That said the Antec P150 case is around £100, has had good reviews and comes with a 430W PSU..

Personally I'd recommend a Akasa Eclipse 62. Just built a system with one, has a removable motherboard tray so its easy to install into and with 2 Akasa Amber fans in it is cool and barely audible too. Only problems were that the PSU seemed a tight fit (might have been the PSU's fault) and the fact that I want one now .

I wouldn't call it maing a quick buck at all, the person's well aware of the fee we charge for building / OS installation and I'm well up on my stuff, it's just interesting to see what real people (i.e. not magazines / reviewers) think and I value the people who post here's opinions.

That said, thanks for the recommendations. I think I'm gonna go Akasa Eclipse (I'm picking one up for myself on the weekend anyway) and having looked into it, I think I'll be following MantisCSS's advice on the HiperPower.

Once again, thanks all!

Aviod the Hiper. It has been known to blow up on occasions.

Seasonsic S12, Tagan and enermax Libertys are all great choices. Get those.

As for cases, its more of what you like kind thing

I really like the Akasa Eclipse and PC7+
