I can either order an ABit NF7 now, or wait a week or two for a few extra pounds in my account to get an NF7-S Lol
What I want to know is - is the onboard sound on the NF7 much worse than that of the NF7-S? ANd what other difgferences are there?

definitely get the nf7-s
Id deffinatly get the 'S' varient, much better sound on it.
You also get firewire and sata
Worth the extra for the SATA and Firewire alone

i'm going for the s version myself at some point soon so you can prolly tell what id suggest
allways nice to have extra stuff that you may not want or use now but you never know whats arround the corner
Undoubtedly NF7-S ... much better mobo ... not that NF7 is bad by any means but NF7-S is one of the best you can get.
Its definitely worth waiting a bit for the NF-7. Better M/B, more futureproof, with the S-ATA, firewire, better sound, optical out...
I would wait a few more weeks, save a few more pennies and get an Abit AN7 - the successor to the NF7-S
Ordered the NF7-S and some Artic Silver 3
Now how does one apply the AS3? Lol.

Those are the official instructions
Thanks Russ and Theo!
I can't wait
Gonna be a pain installing it though, but once it's done it'll be cool.
I hate reformatting
SilentDeath, you can have the K7S5A yeah, but you'll have to flash yourself back to the official BIOS. It's pretty easily done however.
Did you reply to my PM with regards the price?
