Sound Advice??????

If you want to connect a speaker system like a logitech Z5500 and a headset to your PC.

And your Headset is a USB Plantronics witht a built in sound card

What is the best way....... or am i better of using the Mobo onboard sound and getting a non USB headset - I'd rather avoid that though as I've only had the plantronics for a few months and it cost me 50 quid!!!

you could use control panel to change the default audio device all the time, or i think theanimus wrote a program that did it automagically, youd have to see him about it though, and i dont think it always worked.

And having 2 audio drivers would not cause any conflicts??

And i guess I could leave the default microphone as the plantronics usb whilst switching the main output between speaker and headset???

BUMp.....................Any thoughts..................Will I be ok to do this, and any Z5500 users out there, Whats your recommendation to get these babys singing
