    long lives online business

bought a really cheap s478 cooler to check an old P4 chip before i build a system based on it, went to a local shop no point to use a online shop would wait and pay delivery. So i asked the shop guy for the cooler he gave me one without compound the nice guy sees that and gives me few in a little plastic bag, didn’t really mind since it was just to check the chip.
And off i go, near the door noticed i didn’t have a receipt went to guy and asked him, he says still being printed (crap printer? especially cause i see him pressing the print option in the pc) and again off I go once again. After this outside the door I check the cooler box and see up to 2.5 GHz since i told him my chip was 3GHZ went back inside once again and showed him the box – answer THAT IS YOUR PROBLEM!!! the f**** refused to give me another cooler or the money back only 5 minutes after I bought it.

I just lost two pints money not much but it really pissed me of!!! In the end I did tried the chip with that cooler the chip was fine but the cooler sounds like a chopper.

I think I am really done with street shops at least most online shops gives u 7days return policy.

The lovely shop is located near the Pontypridd market (south Wales) haves the lovely computing europe name and the crappy web site www.computingeurope.com

i gave up on brick n mortar pc shops a long time ago. a few weeks ago i called one inquireing about the cost of a PATA hard drive for a work compy that had shagged its current one. they only wanted £100 for a 120gb drive. - THATS NOT GOOD! THATS ****, no wonder there being killed off

yep last time i went to a camera shop to see the digital sony DSC-H2 as soon i as got it in my hands the guy starts - u know web shops are really bad if any problem u need to post it back and pay it, then u wait up to a month before they post u a replacement... i didnt even mention any other shop and the guy just started crying around bout online shops.

They really have no chance the funny thing is when i asked about the lens the guy said - well i dont know bout that but u can go online and have a check!!! why the hell i need u then?

The other problem i find with these shops is that they carry very little actually in stock and when you ask about an item they often say they have'nt got it but can order it in. I realise that they cannot hold every item you might ever need in stock but it seems to be getting so bad that the only thing a lot of them stock are cd, dvd writers and consumables.

bricks and mortar pc shops exist to rip the passer-by off. Everything from PC World to 'Dodgy Computer Shop LTD, end of your high street' I've never been to a good one. Too many spotty kids or grumpy old ****ers.

True and they always treat u like u don’t know s**t. Last time I went to a shop run by a Asian when I asked him if he had TFT monitors from other brand than Belina he spend at least 5 minutes saying (with the most funny accent) – belina u don’t know BELINA! belina u don’t know BELINA!!! When I though it was over he looks to his mate and says – Belina he doesn’t know belina. I have to say the guy selling techniques need to improve a lot, since then every time I see belina I have mixed emotions.

hey atrull u know if hexus haves a COD clan? i am dam good sure i would manage to get a place.
