    Would these two cards run in SLi

    Point of view Nvidia 7600GS 256mb
    XFX 7600gt 256mb.

    I don't think so, I'm sure they need to be the exact same card? Just curious.

    Your assumption is right they will not work in sli. the cards must have the same gpu but can differ in board vendor.
