How much will the FX-62 be? New GFX/Raptor?

Now that the FX-62 is around the corner, it's been my plan for ages to go crazy and buy an UBER system when it's out, but what I can't seem to find is how much it might cost? I mean whether we're talking £500, £1000 or if it's going to be even more!

Anybody know of any changes in the graphics cards avialable within the next 2 months? Mainly if there's going to be a fast single-slot card than the XFX 7900GT 1650/560 XXX Edition?

Another question is whether a 300gig raptor is too far away? I know they've all been released around February in consecutive years, but I'm not up for waiting another 9 months for a 300gb one! I have a single 150gb one at the moment and will of course be sticking with that along with two of those 750gb seagates

    Thank you,

    ShMeE

Well basically there is already a faster card than the 7900 GTX XXX edition, i.e. the X1900XTX.
As for the CPU it will cost about £700-900 depending on the e-tailer you buy from, expect the higher price tbh.
Get another 150GB and RAID them

    Right, thank you.

Although I'm slightly confused??? I thought that the X1900XTX had a dual-slot cooler? Have they released a new version of it? Can you link me?

Also don't have enough drive bays for a 2nd 150gig drive. - This is going in a Shuttle SN27P2, which only has 2 PCI slots (PCIe16 and PCI) for gfx and freeview card, and only 3 hard drive bays; 150, 2x750.

ye there is the water cooling edition... you can put the watercooling bay anywhere in the case!

I don't think my case will have enough room for it

My current system was running in a tower; SilverStone something or other when I put it together last May, now being a year old (bar the gfx and dvd-burner) ran a lot cooler after i ported it to a shuttle than in the full tower. I had been warned back then of the heat it may generate but it wasn't a problem and right now my X2 4800 idles at 15-18 (believe it or not it was once down to 12 - it was really cold!) but hits 35 ish as you would expect under load, hard drives 40-45, and i'm pretty pleased with it and am sure a new Shuttle would be able to cope with the new componenets.

... and yes I will be selling it in a month or two but probably as pieces rather than whole, and not the screens!

It's only 350W, but it's pretty much as good as running on a 600W decent make one...

Don't forget that you can run SLI 7900GTs and 2 raptors, and an FX60 of this psu, so my setup shouldn't be a problem.

Have you considered the silverstone sugo case? It should have enough space for what you want.

I have... but I've been doing Shuttle's for ages now... put together about 25 of them, and wouldn't choose anything else, plus the Sugo is bigger and I take my Shuttle all over the place with me; and it's smallness + shuttle bag is very convenient.
