    Mice

Well i don't like wireless mice, id prefer a wired optical mouse. I have a £10 one atm which does the job fine but its wearing out, i was looking at the mx700 but as i said its wireless so ive been looking at the mx500... is it worth paying £30 for this?

I play alot of games.. counter-strike, call of duty, ut2k3, bf1942 etc and wondering if it would be any better.

    Thanks alot,

    Stylez

Have a MX700 and it is devine. Hate MS mice, they feel cheap and nasty compared to a Logitech.

Why may I ask do you not like cordless? There is no lag what so ever with the MX700.

Well i don't like the idea of charging batteries etc and incase im in a match or game or something and they run out. Id rather have one which just plug straight in and works non stop without having to do things here and there.

The reason im asking is because i don't have access to try these out and thought it would be better asking so i don't buy one and not like it.

I have a MX 310 and it rocks, also I've learned to use both hands for mousing as I occasionally suffer from RSI so it helps.

I have the MX 700 and it is the best mouse I have ever used. I play tons of games and it's never died at a bad time, in fact it's never died. I just throw it on the base charger when I go to bed. I'm probably charging it more than I need too, but better to be safe. Believe me, you won't regret buying this mouse. Plus no clutter of wires. It's fantastic!!

Another reason being im on a budget of around £35 and the mx700 is closer to £45-50. I just want a decent mouse which is good for alot of gaming and is smooth without jumping or anything.

Yer, I saw the MX500 in the Argos chrimbo catalogue. I can't believe argos are out doing dedicated computer component retailers for prices!

Sorry, I've got to agree with the other posts. The MX700 is fabulous. The "hassle" of charging, I don't understand - it's no big deal, it won't run out at a crucial time unless you are totally apathetic about it.

If I were you, I'd stretch the extra pounds and go for it! If you want a place that doesn't shaft you for carriage then www.kustompcs.co.uk is the place for you!
