    Opteron 146 Motherboard?

As the whole world seems to have sold out of the MSI K8N Neo4 Platinum, I'm looking for an alternative (preferably a non SLi / Crossfire board) that won't hinder a 146 overclock.

    Has anyone got any suggestions?

Almost any Dfi, Asus or Abit nf4 board would do the job nicely.

Personally I'd say the Dfi NF4 Ultra-D as it is a top overclocker but others (Buff. with his abit fetish) will disagree. Also worth a look would be some of the new ati chipset boards as they get a good write up too. I would do a good search on the internet for some group tests to get a good overview of all of the available boards.

I won't disagree, I just have a difference of opinion based on my priorities.

DFI's are a tad pricey, I'm after something around the £65 mark.

As for Abit, I would have gone for the KN8 Ultra but it's lack of uGuru kinda puts me off.

Have a DFI Ultra-D myself and have my 146 oc'ed to 3.0ghz rock steady. Dont be put off by number of people saying it's an ethusuiasts board and therefore difficult to use - it's pretty straightforward .
