a constructive post? I know I dont do the most "helpful" posts at some point but this really is pretty pointless

The machine you got there mate will be amazing and the difference between this one and your older system will be MASSIVE imo. Very nice indeed

I think Heru forgot a smiley wink or two

That set up looks pretty damn good - i'm thinking about going over to dual core too - let us know how it goes!

twas indeed a joke, however, id be interested to know why you went for a 7900 over the x1900? did you find a good deal? if so share teh wealth (or at least lack of wealth after its been bought)

Best place for voltmod info is at techpowerup. Basically you lower the resistance on resistors for the graphics chip and ram to give them more voltage and hence a higher clockspeed.

The 7900gt is pretty good for voltmods but it could easily go wrong. Ati x1900 cards have software voltmodding which makes things a lot easier.

There are volt mods for the 7900GT too, but those extra 160 reasons are something the 7900 can't comepete with.

so gun9, do you plan to overclock it? I noticed you haven't mentioned the cooling you would use.
