My choice = Abit Max3 - better cooling & designed with overclockers in mind... as always with Abit

Asus are great designed with top quality & stability too.

I have tested the abit max 3 and can tell you that is a great board for the overclockers.

I can't say much about the Asus, but alot of people i know have them and say they are rock solid boards.

The one noticable advantage of the max 3 is the better cooling.

You will be happy with either board, you can't lose but the Abit does appear to be specifically aimed at overclcokers. The one thing you need above all else when overclocking, is main board stability and in the component choice, cooling, range of adjustments in the BIOS, Abit tend to cover more points than anyone else.

Over the last couple of years, Abit's reputation has built up specifically in this area. In terms of features also, Abit can hold its own with any other main board.
