I am after some small but good looking / sounding speakers for my PC. Don't want to pay too much. I like the Creative T20 but a bit out of my price range (Unless someone is selling thiers?)
Anyone got any good recommendations? Max £30 budget Ta

Would be good to have a rough budget, but the Harmon Kardon Sound Sticks are meant to be quite good![]()
Sorry whats your budget? Altec lansing MX5020 are £36 and are brilliant
You definitly need some 1800w 7.1 surround sound tripple-range speakers and an X-FI Xtreme Music sound card with a 5.25" bay extension
Only after 2 speakers, not any more!Originally Posted by latrosicarius

Hmmm, on a serious note though, those MX5020 speakers look quite good.
What kind of music (heavy bass/high treble) or games are you going to be using this for?
Whats with the unhelpful comments ?
Aswell as the MX5020's, check out these

Kool PC,
most 2 speaker setups worthy of any merit now, come with a sub - mainly to prop up smaller more stylish satellite speakers.
Try Dabs, they have a lot at the lower end of the price range

I know your question was for 2.0 speakers but have a look at the Logitech S200. I bought these a couple of months ago, they are superb value for the price. Many positive reviews on ebuyer.

altec lansing do a good buy from scan at 29.95, so if uve applied for ur hexus-free carriage deal from scan thats under budget, its a 2.1 sound system, with a nice bass and treble, and they're easy to set up too. U can also take the stands off them and wall mount the speakers, if u wished.
2 of my mates got these, ones hooked on WoW and the other plays Elder Scrolls, and they both say they're perfect for games. These would be my preference.

What about this Harman Kardon speakers?
I am thinking of buying this to replace my current speakers (Cheapo Sound Blaster), but I am not sure if it's worth it?
IMHO the lower frequency range is not low enough though... I prefer 20 Hz if there is one.![]()
Well, i have got some cheap speakers now. As stated in the first post, only 2 speakers were required. Pointless saying about 2.1 or 7.1 systems as that was not what i was after. Anyway, thanks.
Just for future reference, I've got a pair of Gigaworks T20s sitting in front of me as I type and they're fantastic. As long as you're not expecting low bass extension (they start rolling off below about 90Hz) you'll get a fantastically detailed and tight sound. I've seen them for about £50 floating around the web and I'd say that they're well worth it.
