    SFF, silent, file server

ok, i have two PCs that are networked but i what to build a small server that will be on 24/7 to store the family's "files"

-it has to be really VERY quiet,(im sleeping under it!!)
-it doesnt need to do much else (except posably a bit of Word pro'ing)
-im trying to keep it below £300 (no exceptions)

finaly im in the UK so dont recomend any US shops, and no $'s

I use a M10k (only for the TV out and media playing ability though) for a fileserver. 12dB panaflo and a silent DC-DC psu and a harddisk that is cushioned and i cant hear it at all when asleep, i have to stop breathing to listen out for it

The loudest part of the system is the harddisk, 1 disk is annoying cause it has to talk to the OS as well as download which is slow, but 2 harddisks double the noise :/

Also, id like 512meg ram as i find it pagefiling quite a bit

CL 1ghz version also has 2 NICs if you need a crossover.
I dont like sig pics so i turn off sigs Which doesnt help when i dont know what ive written here! DOH!
