Exclamation Fame/money/oral pleasure to whoever helps me

Just tried to resize a drive on my hdd (45GB to 52GB). Unfortunatly the space i was adding to the partition was at the beginning of it. As it started 2 move the space the pc hung and would not continue moving the data. Now i wouldn't usually mind this, but it had all 43 GB of my music on the drive.

I cannot access the drive, i tried to debug it with norton/windows disk manager/partition magic 7 and nothing worked . Anyone who helps me get this music back gets my love and affection and if they want it, a cookie.

If you can run Drive Image 2002 on it make an image to another partition (provided you have one big enough), then use Image Explorer in windows and hopefully your directory tree will still be there, and you can extract the files. It might complain though if it was in the middle of an operation.

Where you work?, if its near me i might drop it in. Would feel safer doing that than just sending off a drive 2 a random

If you have another hard drive with 45GB of space, you could always run some kind of file recovery program on the borked drive, copy your music over. Worked for me, when I lost my MBR (Multiple times).

Tried that, only recovered 50 songs but wouldn't let me access them . I've formatted now, so it dont matter.
