    Post Logitech Z2300 2.1 Speakers

For owners of these beauties, can you tell me if the speakers are wall mountable ?

Thinking of getting them for my home cinema setup.

Dunno if they're wall mountable, but I was thinking about getting the same speakers until I read the user reviews on Zdnet/Cnet where various people have hammered these speakers for the lack of midrange and reviews for not picking this up...

I have these speakers and they rock so dam hard! Both my X-Fi Fatal1ty and My speakers are THX certified so music is amazing and movies send a shiver down your body!

I love them! As for wallmountable - You would need a bracket as theres no holes on the speakers.

    My rating would be 9/10!

..as in any old speaker bracket, or a specific one to this model ?

No any Would do.. Just for something for them to sit on - theres no holes on them. But one problem is..

The sound and bass goes TOO HIGH! I get temped to wack it up but have never been half way and thats too loud!

Anyway I would recommend the speakers. There a little bit pricey but you get what you pay for!

Is the bass still madly overpowered like the Z2200's?

You can turn it up or down to almost off or yes - overpowered.

So, do you guys think these are suitable for a home cinema setup or not ?
If not, what recommendations could you give me for 2.1s ?

I would yes. As said they are THX cerified and THX is using in a lot of movies - infact our cinema has a screen with just THX sound. The quality is great! Well theres my input it's upto you now!

i have these, and they will deafen you so dont cuss them! they really are amazing, as for wall mountable, theres nothign on the back for this, so i suppose youll need special brackets.

I have these - they are very good - check the reviews (just google Altec Lansing MX5021 for a fistful) and they come with wall mounts.
Try to make each and every day the best it can be.

I think the 2200's had a bass control knob, but it did bugger all and the bass still saturated any sounds. Loud isn't always good.
