Question Which CPU for graphics workstation

Currently have a spec of a pc to be used as a graphics workstation, mainly photoshop and distiller...

It has 1GB ram, 200GB sata, 16x dvd-rw and windows xp pro, however I can decide on what cpu to go for...

    P4 630 3Ghz or Amd 939 3500+

    What do you think?

Also im thinking of increasing the memory to 2GB?

    Thanks

PS this isnt for me, but a client...

if you are using it, it might be good idea to go for opteron since its more reliable.

also I would change the memory to ECC. you dont want the machine crashing while you have unsave work

Thanks, but these are the two cpu's available from our supplier within the price range the client wants to pay, if i was building the system for my self, i'd probably get a x2 3800+ as their £175 now....
