    New psu dilema

I am currently building a PC for my son
    specs -
    Abit AW8 i955X
    1GB Corsair XMS2
    80Gb DiamondMax 10
    XFX 7800GT
    Pentium D 930

I was thinking using my PSU wich is a Antec Neopower and getting somethig else for my PC.
The thing is i like the Antec it has modular cables a quiet 120mm fan and a dedicated molex for the case fans.
Can anybody recomend something similar or better with the same atributes or should i keep it and get my son something else?

seasonic are very highly rated but quite expensive http://www.scan.co.uk/Products/Produ...oductID=256337
if you like modular, the hiper type-r is reasonably priced and looks pretty cool http://www.scan.co.uk/Products/Produ...oductID=228620.
There is also a newer version of the antec neopower, which is more efficient http://www.ebuyer.com/UK/product/99138

    Hope this helps

I was looking at the new antecs not sure about that little fan though.
The hiper type-r is nice looking but on the manufacturers site it shows it with violet brading and bright red molex connectors ooh

Yes MantisCSS i was agreeing with you I was unsure about the violet braiding and bright red molex connectors shown on the Hiper site Here
Then i found the review above and it showed all black plugs and braiding
