Gaming Mouse?

I love my mx518.

It is a much more comfortable shape than I was expecting, having tried some other logitech mice.

1600dpi is too much and I tend to game around 1200 most of the time.

Only minor complaint is the scroll wheel, which doesn't seem very high quality - I think it's wearing in better though over time.

mx1000 ftw.. its got the laser, the wireless and and a much nicer button arrangement than the "gaming" mice.. only 800dpi but laser tracking and more than sensitive enough

Love my MX1000 - and echo the shape thing - it's very comfy

No experience with the Mx518, but ive got both a wired and a wireless Mx510.
- The both fantasic mice, wirless ones a little heavy, but the wired on i used every day since i got it about 2years ago and its worked faultlessley, very nice feel, very precise, and jsut the right number of buttons, imo!

Logitech 510 is pretty good and cheap. Had no problems with this one. The old cordless one got abliterated when it hit the wall at high velocity. No more dead batteries for me. The 510 is very responsive and also came bundled with an S&S Steel mouse pad. Not bad for the price.

mx518 user here also....been using MX mice for a few years, great for games to bind buttons too, expecially CS
