Cheap & Quiet 12cm fan?

I have a Coolermaster 120mm blue LED fan and it is almost silent and gives off nice glow as well as the important cooling effect!

Edit 1: He's got a US site as well with descriptions in English and prices in Dollars but not as many items as the German site.

They are going to be mounted horizontally, are the Yate Loons the best for this or should I be looking at a ball bearing type?

The Yate Loon medium speed black 120mm fan I took out of a Seasonic Tornado didn't like being run in the horizontal position. Neither does a Nexus (rebranded Yate Loon low speed) 120mm I purchased off ebay. Both these were 1-2 years old at least IMO.

The new clear blue led Yate Loon medium speed I bought from Silencio didn't like being run in the horizontal position either.

Black fans - I'm not sure exactly how long they will last before they will start making noises in the horizontal position. IMO I would say at least a year or two.

I vote for the sharkoon 2000 12cm, the sharkoon 2000 8cm had an excellent review in CustomPC, as the sharkoon fans are designed like golf balls they can move huge amounts of air at very low noise.

I've got the 1000 12cm and I think it's a very good fan. I couldn't hear it over the other fans.

Also have a 1000 8cm fan bought off ebay. This pushes very little air but it's ok for what I want.

I was thinking of importing 3. With postage the total would come under £18 - over this amount we would get hit for Customs charges.

I think they get good user review(s) on SPCR.

Oops, missed that, sorry.

In that case the Sharkoon are probably one of the best.
