    Should MB box be sealed?

Hi. Do new Abit motherboards come in a sealed or shrinkwrapped box? Is the ESD bag supposed to be open one end or closed all around? Am I being sold something returned by somebody else? I don't have a clue, but I purchased online and this appears to be an open box. Thanks

from all the new motherboards I've bought online they have came with an open box and a open end to the anti static bag.

Check and see if there is dust on the motherboard, if so then complain.

A lot have a Anti-Static sticker keeping the bag closed, but not all
eg, i know Abit's are unsealed, ECS's are sealed (or atleast used to be, been ages since i used one of their boards).

Thanks Agent, mr_roll; I don't need to learn any lessons the hard way. It's all clean and new looking so I guess it is untouched but I'm surprised such items are not securely wrapped. Actually I'm astonished.

my abit mobo box came with some mini 'shipping straps' round it - you know the plastic things you have to cut off with a knife or something sharp, and can be really irritating if you don't have one, but not actually sealed as such.

All of the motherboards we get in at work are in an open box, but the anti-static bag is sealed with sticky tape!
