    FX60 Temps

I have an FX60 with an Arctic cooling freezer 64, how hot should the cpu be getting? Its reading @ 46 celcius under full load (prime95 after about 10 hours).

    Its on an ASUS AN8SLI32.

Also what speed fan calls the PWM in my dfi (I suppose its that as i have no profile for the asus board) is reaching 62 celcius under the same load.

Are these temperatures ok considering there is no overclocking going on - they seem a bit high but then its a very hi end PC (two raptors and SLI 7900GTXs)

    Thanks

PS the system is not for me unfortunately.

that does seem a little bit high. how is the case ventilation? when ypu take the heatsink off, is there even contact between it and the cpu?. are you using decent TIM like arctic silver 5? if so, make sure you havent put too much of it on. check here http://www.arcticsilver.com/arctic_s...structions.htm

edit: the pwmic temp is not ideal. a fan blowing over the pwmic area will drop the temps well, even just a low rpm silent fan will do.

My 3500+ newcastle has been sitting pretty at 2.65Ghz 55c full load for over a year now. People worry too much about heat.
