Just tweak the settings.
you can use the gfx card features to adjust gamma contrast etc etc , if your running an nvidia card, turn up digital vibrance.
just tweak away
Yea, takes a while but you will get there in the end.
If your gfx card supports, use the DVI output. The cable will have white connecters either end. This ensure a digital picture and the best vibrance possible, this of course differs from brand to brand.
If you are already doing this, then reset to default, select a cool colour mode on tft, and gradually inscrease the settings,
Some people can't notice a difference between DVI and VGA. I can't!
There is a massive difference.. opinion based on my own dual 1901fp's (dells) & x800 to a 7800gtx
i can mess around and i have been doing, but i get one colour looking ok then another is out or the screen is darker than it should be etc. i was just wondering if there was a program to use to setup the colours and brightness and stuff.
i found that the best way to set up is to tweak the settings on the monitor its self, just looked better to me doing it that way.
and i also found the dvi to be better than vga, but not by a great amount, just that some things look slightly sharper and slightly more vibrant.
but each to their own
There's things such as Monitor Calibration Wizard, but I didn't think it was worth it. It's perhaps important for professional graphic designers and such, but I preferred the custom way personally.
On my 2001FP I just chose the profile I liked the best and put the RGB numbers into the custom part and tweeked till I was happy. Have fun with the new monitor.
