Do you want to o/c as well or simply use optimal BIOS settings? The best tip is to press CTRL+F1 to access the otherwise hidden modding menu. If you do want to o/c you should ideally ascertain whether you're using TbredA or TbredB, there's a big diff. Since I presume you have the CPU installed simply type SET at a CMD prompt (START -> RUN -> 'CMD') for Family, Model & Stepping info as 6-8-0 is TbredA while 6-8-1 is TbredB (can also check with CPUID). As a quick optimisation guide disable shadowing and disable 'Optimum CPU Mode' (or whatever it's called). Gotta dash, sorry.

Right, you want to download the latest version of the BIOS from here first -

    http://www.gigabyte.com.tw/motherboa...S_GA-7VAXP.htm

When you have done that, select the "Optimised Defaults" in the BIOS to get the ball rolling.

I'll just go and look for a BIOS settings guide for you....
