My Pentium D 920 reached 68'C Full load today, my 2 AMD rigs both topped at 48'C.
I guess my PD920 got a crappy heatspreader

i got all my fans on ful wack and its still like a kilm in there :P thats probs just coz it cant take the speed of my headhsots in CSS though!
Watch those hard drives, they start dropping like flies in poorly ventilated cases as the temperatures rise.

if you case is cooler with the side off, you have a MAJOR flaw in your airflowQuote:

nah its a 32bit Barton core, which comes at stock with a 11x multi. All I did was reduce the voltage 0.1v to lower the temps :)
I got in and my PC had reset itself yesterday.
The sharkoon case fan was displaying 38 degree's so I expect it was a tad bit warm ;)
Finger's crossed the addition of a few more fans helps today.
My PC's fine. Though my PWN IC temps are high (max 64*C). CPU loads at 44*C (2.8GHz) even at the very hot temps of my flat :D
My CPU was idle at 39C yesterday (Comp on all day) and my motherboard (chipset I think) was at 44C!
Was hot :P
I dont need more fans, what do you know about my system, zero.Quote:

In normal condition, this system, which runs 24/7 and is under full load(folding) sits 34/35c
Gah, I should have noticed the motherboard, my bad (I blame the XtTeMe HeAt!!1#).Quote:

ok, yes it's summer, a good time for my lappy fans to conk out!
have a very sexy setup to cure this......
laptop balanced on hinge against wall with the bottom up, connected to an external screen, with a £4.99 desk fan from woolies blasting the bottom...
problem solved!
How do you work that out? Pretty obvious realy.Quote:

my graphics card started to get hot, still working, but just really noisy with the fan jammed at 100%, so I purchased from the lovely guys at scan a cheap CPU heatsink, and along with a tube of some thermal pastete epoxied it onto they stock heatsink. Now it runs nice and cool , also set it so it runs at 200/200 when I am not running games.
Only disadvatage - its gone from a nice tidy single slot card to 5 slotter
