Watercooling additives

im currently watercooling my opteron however since the sunny weather has come to town my temps are shooting up ive jumped from 25-27 degrees to 38-40. My room where my rig lives is pretty warm but ive got no way of cooling that much other than opening a window :mrgreen:

i saw some water additives on various websites which is supposed to help take the heat out of the water:

would this make much difference or am i going to have to put some case fans in :undecided??

I would say just add a couple of quiet 120mm fans, its not as if its going to increase the noise level much...

if the room is hot, then theres not a lot you can do about it, apart from maybe back off the volts a bit until the weather cools down. extra fans wont hurt, but wont change the cpu temps.

40 degrees isn,t that high anyway...

If you put a fan directly over the cpu it migth be a bit cooler, coolant wont help though.
