Would that not be downgrading since AGP is faster?

That shows it in reference to PCI, not PCI-e which is a lot faster...

Anyway, on topic, the 6600gt would be a perfect card in that price range, have just installed one for an uncle and its pretty damn good, copes well with moderate gaming...

oh, i mean upgrading to PCI express meaning a wider range of faster cards. there is only really 1 other http://www.scan.co.uk/Products/Produ...oductID=378694 or maybe u cud ask in the scan part and see whent he other wud be in stock, worth thinking bout upgrading to PCI though, would give u a much bigger rang int he future.

If you think you'll be upgrading again within the next 2-3 years I'd suggest seriously considering migrating to PCI-Express. Remeber you can always sell you current card and motherboard on the bay or at a CEX.

    Thanks for your help

I ended up getting a 6800 for £90 del, but fitted with a 6800gt fan.. So with a bit more cooling, gonna unlock the 4 pipes, and make it just perform 5% less than a proper 6800gt
