    problems with my logitech trackball and middle clicking

    well, i just got my logitech cordless trackman optical on the recomendation on somone from this forum, but when i use the "mouseware" software to assign the "middle button" function to any button, it... well doesnt middle click. anyone got any ideas on how to fix this?

    dont have one but have you looked @ logitech site to see if newer mouseware is out?

    Not a solution - but to let you know - my MX1000 recently done the exact same thing - it's stuck on alt-tab bizaarely (not logitechs application switch...) but only when I bind it to middle button. Guessing it must be something else installed - but can't make out what...

    Oh well - this installs been on here for far too long anyhow
    Now go away before I taunt you a second time.

    this was on a fresh install, and all i had installed was firefox, thunderbird, avast, kerio personal firewall and mouseware.

    no help on the logitech website, and no new version of mouseware.
