Those of you in the UK will know the summer has started this week. This brings along some increase of torture for PCs.
My PC's Athlon64 hit 51oC after playing Oblivion and the x800gto went to 71oC.
Are these safe numbers to be working with?
cheers

Erm my opteron hit 57oC and my graphics card is nearly 90oC on Quake 4... times of when I had stock cooler basically :D
my pc's suffering and its watercooled...not alot you can do when room temps are hitting the 30's....
My Athlon XP idles at bloody 52 degrees and is hitting 60 at load argh... mind u it is in a HTPC overture case with sound proofing lol
My PD920 went up to 70'C today :(Quote:

Hmm mines still idles at 35c, full load goes up a bit to 52c
My cpu hit all of 42C during 31C heat under full load :)
I've got the graphics and CPU watercooled.
Mine hit that on air :D 42C full load with internal case temperatures running between 32-33C Running an Athlon XP undervolted though :)Quote:

Time to think about a replacement CPU Cooler and a few new fans I think :)
Bling bling :)Quote:

My CPU is idling at 39 degress and my GPU at 50 degrees at 3am, with a desk fan going and my case fans on full whack. I never even used to see these temps at full load during the winter.... I think I might move to Siberia.
Heh, I would have liked to do that (and was actually planning to) but the memory I've got is crap and SoA Athlons hate dividers. So no overclocking potential - I went for decent air cooling instead (SI-97 by the legends at Thermalright). That and with uni coming up, its much easier to transport a air cooled pc to a water cooled one :)Quote:
