    Is this safe?

Well, my PSU decided to die yesterday, and being a WoW addict and mostly broke, i had to find a solution...

So i ninjad my mums computer, and stole her PSU.. its only a 350W thingy and i didnt have much hope for it...

So im playing along, and the USB died.... so no mouse/keyboard.. perplexed i decided to bring up some monitoring tools (8RDAV Core) and see what was going on.. my chipset voltage was hovering around 1.2v.. Its default is 1.6v...

Was at that point i realised that the psu couldnt sustain my system...

So.. I thought, maybe if i unplug the fans? no better.. Maybe if i unplug the GC? all is good

Now comes the part that i need an answer for.. I wired up a second PSU that supplies power ONLY to the GC, and the other PSU supplies the rest..

    Is this safe?

Bad idea for several reasons, don't do it. If you do, you may end up blowing up both your PSUs, and your PC.

Just buy another PSU, if you put the order in now, then scan should have one at your door tomorrow.

In the meantime, you might try removing some of the power hungy components from your PC, so it will run n 350w

hmn.. so you're willing to risk playing now and have like a month downtime in a couple of days when it finally takes ur graphics card.. HDD.. motherboard with it as well? When it takes everything with it in a couple of hours.. I'm sure you'll be more broke than now considering you'll have to buy a new PC.. bad move really.. Just leave it be for a couple of days, its already as bad as it is now..

If you're so broke, I'm sure a cheapo 500W (under £15) from Scan would have sufficed, or any high street PC shops for that matter.
    Me want Ultrabook

stop overclocking your gfx card, remove 1gb memory, remove DVD drive, and if possible start underclocking/undervolting as much as possible.

Or... stop playing WoW for few days.

I agree with Sawyen and Nox. It's a bad idea, and if it blows ur MB/GC/HD etc, you're just in for more hardship.
See if what Nox suggests works, that could reduce your load by 50W or more, and see if that helps.
