I would always say to go for a single card over 2 so that you can always add another if you want to
Core 2 Duo E6600 @ 3.2Ghz (400Mhzx8) 1.52V (set in bios, 1.47v real) | 4GB GeIL PC6400 4-4-4-12 | Gigabyte DQ6 @ 1600Mhz | HD2900XT 1GB | Enermax Infiniti 720W | Silverstone TJ07-B with custom watercooling | BenQ FP241WZ
3dmark05 - 13140 | 3dmark06 - 6698 | SuperPi 1M - 15s
thats exactly what i was thinking, if anybody else has any opinions then elt me know! cheers guys!

Agreed ^^
The 7800gtx are going quite cheap these days on the forums so going sli at a later date woundn't be expensive
thats a gd point, hopefully they shud run quite quick aswell

single gtx. i have 2x gtx at the moment and to be honest, sli isnt all its cracked up to be, especially if you arent running a giant monitor at high resolution. also, take into account the extra heat that the extra card will dump in your case, for me, its not worth it.
will be putting one of mine up for sale tomorrow probably.
get the gtx coz then later on instead of getting another which really is never the best thing to do sell it to someone who does want another, 7900 gtx are already at 300 quid they will come down even more wen they release the new cards, plus you cant run multiple monitors with sli enabled as i read somehwere...
